Seriously, who says you can’t wear white after Labor Day? I checked it out for you, and according to Cambio.com it started all the way back in the 1900s. Apparently, wearing white clothing meant you were wealthy because you could afford light clothing, mostly so you wouldn’t sweat as much in the heat of the summer. Well, after the depression, the poor became middle class and were earning enough money to afford white clothing too. So a rule was created to not wear white after Labor Day, and if you knew about it you followed it, and if you didn’t follow it then people could tell you weren’t actually upper class. Crazy!
And too bad, cus I’m all about the White after Labor Day. Today I’ve created three cute and casual looks with an all white base. I’d love to hear which one is your favorite and what your thoughts are on this well known fashion rule!

As long as the sun is still shining and it’s hot outside…I’m OK with white…but once the leaves start changing and the fall nip in the air is here…I love to see fall colors…they just warm everyone up. If you live in the South I guess you could wear white all the time!
Love the outfits you put together! I also love wearing white into the fall and winter 🙂
