How to Wear Denim on Denim

Quite possibly one of my favorite purchases of the season (so far) has to be this ruffle denim jacket. I have always felt that denim jackets are such great staple pieces, and this one is slightly different, a little more trendy but still something you can wear several times and ways! Since denim is huge right now, I wanted to share a couple different ways to can wear denim on the top and the bottom at the same time.

I love wearing denim on denim, but sometimes it can look really weird if you’re not careful. Obviously there are exceptions to every rule, or opinion, but I think denim on denim looks best when it’s either a perfect match or a completely different color combo. For example, I love the look of a lighter blue denim jacket with black or a darker denim jacket with white jeans.  When you’re blue denim with blue denim, I like to make sure that the denim matches almost exactly. I just think it looks a lot cleaner and more put together this way.
