Is it really almost winter?? Summer is definitely gone but this fall has been generous with extra sunshine and warm weather. I wanted to share with you today some amazing color combos that will make it looked like you’re a fashion genius without really trying at all!
This color combo definitely reminds me of my old Catholic School uniform, but the way these girls are wearing it doesn’t at all. So warm and inviting, you can’t go wrong with any combination of these colors!
Mustard & Navy Blue, how cute are you? I love that these ladies took it up a notch by throwing in some classic patterns such as polka dots, stripes & check. Throw on your favorite gold or silver jewels and you’ll look like a million bucks.
Plaid is totally a color right? It should be! Literally any color plaid will go with any shade of winter white. Let the pop of plaid shine through under your sweater, wear a plaid vest over a solid top or a solid vest over a plaid top. Don’t have any of those? Well then I know you have a plaid scarf you could throw on to tie together the perfect plaid and winter white look. Totally effortless!
Eee! black and camel are staple colors every girl has in their closet. Try an all black look with camel colored accessories! Mix textures with leather and suede shoes and handbags. How about a tan sweater dress with some black tights and wedges? Anything works!
OK leopard and chambray might be my favorite pick yet. Maybe because its bold and seriously what girl doesn’t love a little leopard? The best part is that the basic chambray makes it look like you didn’t even try to look this good because its such a basic piece but oh so classy. Leopard scarves, leopard shoes, leopard BLAZER! (oh my!) – you want just one pop of this sassy print and to let the chambray do the rest of the work.
Blush & Gray is gorgeous and totally girly girl. Look classy and sophisticated with this last but not least color combination. This duo is so chic you could easily wear it top to bottom. I’d recommend staying monochromatic in each color, or adding one item in a darker shade to make everything pop – like With Love from Kat’s gorgeous dark gray bag.
What do you think of these unexpected colors together? I’m always looking for new ways to reuse pieces in my current wardrobe and these ladies have definitely given me some inspiration on how to update and old look.
